  • Contact forms. When you send us a message through the form on our home page or contact page, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message. Messages sent through the forms are delivered to us by email.
  • Phone and email. If you call or email us, we keep a record of that communication.

Information collected automatically.

  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Website is used. Google collects information such as the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, the website that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Server logs. Our website hosting provider records technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to operate and secure the Website.

How we use information

  • understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it;

  • Links to other sites. Our blog posts include links and share buttons for sites such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, WhatsApp and Tumblr. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We only exchange information with them if you click through.
  • Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of Zippie IT, our clients or others, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

How long we keep information

  • Contact form messages and related correspondence: for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep our business records.
  • Analytics data: according to the data retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

How we protect information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including secure (HTTPS) connections to the Website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@zippieit.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to know, access, correct or delete your information, or to opt out of certain uses. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Children

The Website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
